●Exciting City Ichikawa Commemorative project for the 90th anniversary of the city
■ Ichikawa Maima River bank cherry blossom week
Chochin (lanterns) will be set up along the Maima River ( near Onikoshi to Miyakubo ) and a special website will be opened to provide information on the blooming cherry trees.

Target ・ Number of people = 15 people in order of application each day
◆Sakura Tsumazaiku Experience
Making Tsumazaiku, a traditional craft of Chiba Prefecture.

Target Number of people = Elementary school students and older, 8 people per session in order of application

◆Hiking from Stations
A walking event organized by JR East, starting from JR Motoyawata Station to tourist spots where cherry trees bloom ( This is an 11-kilometer hiking course that starts at JR Motoyawata Station, passes through sightseeing spots where cherry blossoms are in bloom , such as Manma River and Satomi Park ), and ends at JR Ichikawa Station. Participants are also entitled to special privileges that they can receive on the course.

Exhibition of Works from the Ichikawa City Collection at Yoshizawa Garden Gallery
The "Exhibition of Works from the Ichikawa City Collection" introduces art works and materials by artists associated with the city. This exhibition features over 30 works, including "Reiki" by Chie Fukuda. In addition, some of the works recently acquired from the collection will be presented for the first time. ●Sorted collection of "small rechargeable Batteries" will be collected separately from April
In recent years, there have been a number of fires believed to be caused by the ignition of rechargeable batteries such as mobile batteries and electronic cigarettes from intermediate waste disposal facilities and the backs of garbage collection vehicles. In order to prevent serious accidents from occurring, "small rechargeable batteries" such as lithium-ion batteries, nickel-metal hydride batteries, and nickel-cadmium batteries will be collected separately once a week starting with the April garbage collection.
Small rechargeable batteries will be collected on the same days of the week as non-burnable trash and prunings ( Sentinels ) etc.

● Satomi Park Cherry Blossom Festival
Known as one of the best cherry blossom viewing spots in the city, about 200 cherry trees including Someiyoshino and Sato cherry trees bloom in the park. The beautifully illuminated fantastic night view of cherry blossoms is also a must-see.
